Our history
D. Morna Schofield is the CEO and founder of the Cyber Security companies SDTAG Industries LLC and CYIT Training Inc. as well as the non-profit organization The NJC Foundation. The Cyber Security companies provide customized services for Cyber Awareness, Response, Protection and Training. Her clients include Small Medium Businesses who want to improve or establish a cyber-security profile which minimizes threats and financial loss.
Dawn is a strategically driven IT Operations, Security Governance and Compliance Professional with 33 years of contributions to the IT industry. She is a Doctoral Candidate of Information Technology and holds a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology- Project Management, Bachelor of Information Technology- Computer Forensics, and an Associates of Arts in Business Administration.
Before dedicating her work to SDTAG Industries, Dawn worked in IT Operations for 24 years at a manufacturing organization, whose customers included McDonald, Walmart, Starbucks, Kroger and national and international consumer and restaurant brands.
She has written several white papers on the emergence and impact of Cyber Security for Small and Medium Business.
Additionally, Dawn worked for four years in the European market where she functioned as a lead for the development of Virtual Private Networks. She also worked in the Finance industry and was instrumental in the development of current Credit card security practices.
In her spare time, Dawn enjoys giving back to the community through participation in local organizations and programs. This includes the Kershaw County Back to School Bash, a non-profit organization of 25 years, which provides free school supplies and activities for nearly 1000 students and parents each year. The NJC Foundation, where she operates as CEO, provides healthy mind, body, and soul programs to the local community for over 5 years. She actively participates with Dementia Awareness and Breast Cancer walks. She is a faithful member of her local church and enjoy teaching and leading others.
